Girls Day Out

I was talking to my sister Nichole last week and she told me she was taking her daughter Kadence to see Beauty and the Beast. I thought that was a great idea for a one on one for Taylee and I. I really have not had alone time with Taylee since Remi was born.
So yesterday after Remi's doctors appointment, which by the way was awesome. She is very healthy and doing great. Back to Taylee, When I got home I asked her if she wanted to go see a movie with me and she got really excited and said, "go to movie with mommy". So we got ready and I grabbed my purse and she wanted her purse. She kept saying white purse. It was so cute.
When we got to the movie she saw a big poster of Beauty and the Beast and got so excited. I just wish I had my camera. After we got our treat and got comfortable in our seat I realized that no one else was there. We had the whole theater to ourselves. It was awesome. Beauty and the Beast is one of Taylee's favorite movies. While we were watching it she was singing every song at the top of her lungs and quoting almost every line. I just sat back and had the biggest smile on my face. I love being a mom and moments like that are so special.
At home when Taylee watches Beauty and the Beast it doesn't matter where I am she always finds me when Belle and the Beast are dancing because she loves to dance with me or Brady during that part. So when that part come on in the theater she still wanted to dance. I felt a little silly since we were not at home, but I realized no one was in there so we danced and we had so much fun. Yesterday was one of the best days ever. I definitely will remember it forever.

Fun Stuff!!!

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve this year was so much fun. Last year we started going to the Mesa
Temple to see the lights and thought we would make it a tradition. The lights and nativity scene were so beautiful. Taylee was so excited to see everything. I love seeing her face light up. Remi really didn't know what was going on, but I could tell she was having fun. When we got home we opened Christmas Eve pj's and watch our favorite Christmas Eve movie, The Muppets' Christmas Carol and went to bed. It was a wonderful, fun night.

Christmas Day

Christmas day was awesome! The girls got up around eight in the morning. When Taylee saw all the presents under the tree she had the biggest smile on her face. She really wanted to open the presents, but our church started at nine so we thought we would wait until after church to open our presents so we didn't have to rush. I loved having Christmas on a Sunday. Our Christmas program was so great and the music was beautiful. When we got home it was time to open our presents. I thought for sure Taylee would have so much fun opening her stuff, but after her third present she just wanted to play with her toys. It took us about two hours just to open her presents. It's a good thing we had no other place to go. Remi loved the paper. She had fun putting it in her mouth and watching what we were doing. She is so chill, I love it. Christmas was amazing. We had so much fun hanging out with each other.
Thank you family for all the gifts. You spoiled us once again. We love you.
Merry Christmas.

Potty Training Reward!!!
So about five months ago Brady and I decided to potty train Taylee. Potty training, I have to say, is one of the hardest things I have ever done. It took about four days once we really stuck with the plan. After a couple of months of not having any accidents we wanted to reward her by taking her to Chuck E. Cheese. She had a ball playing some of the games and riding the rides, but she wanted nothing to do with the giant mouse. We are so proud of how awesome she is doing by going to the potty all by herself.
